[MSEA] Chaos is Coming

I have some great news for MapleSEA players! AsiaSoft has revealed to GX, a popular Singaporean game coverage portal that the Chaos updates will arrive in a series of three updates this October and November.

Return of the Hero will arrive on October 19, 2011 and will rebalance the Aran, Evan and Dual Blade classes.

Technological Age and Super Fight will come on November 9, 2011 and includes the profession skills for alchemy, jewel crafting, equipment forging, mining and herbalism. The PvP modes of Free for All and Team Match will also be added.

Ice Knight arrives on November 23, 2011. The PvP mode of Ice Knight will be added.

[GMS 1.00] Game Update – Age of Triumph [Chaos 5] + Notes + Dev. Blog

Update 2: The game update has concluded at around 6:38PM Pacific (9:38PM Eastern) and the game is now open. Total update time was around ten hours and 38 minutes.

Update: The game update has been extended for another hour and the game is now expected to go live at 7:00AM Pacific (10:00AM Eastern).

MapleStory will be going through a scheduled game update on Wednesday, August 10, 2011. During this period, all game servers will be unavailable. The game update will last approximately 10 hours. Name changes and world transfers will be processed during this maintenance. The long maintenance time is due to Nexon performing network updates.

Age of Triumph begins on August 10th!

[MSEA] Goodbye Heroes and Dual Blades, For Now

As of August 17, the creation of Dual Blades, Arans and Evans will be disabled in MapleSEA as they prepare for the Chaos that will rise later this year. This will not affect characters that have been created before August 17 and these classes will return after the Chaos update.

The Lion King’s Castle and Von Leon will also be released in MapleSEA on August 17.

[GMS v99] Game Update – Ice Knight [Chaos 4] + Notes

Nexon will be performing weekly scheduled maintenance on all game servers on Tuesday, July 26, 2011. During this period, MapleStory will be unavailable. Game maintenance will last approximately 5 hours. World transfers and name changes will be processed during this maintenance.
