Massively: Rise and Shiny revisit: Mabinogi remains magical
I try to take deeper looks at certain titles at least once a year. These are special games that prove to me that MMORPGs are still the best gaming you can participate in, pixel for pixel. Mabinogi is one of those titles. It’s also one of those titles that almost makes me want to quit writing about games. Ironically, the more you write about games, the less time you have to play specific titles, games that could easily suck away hours of your life every day. These are virtual worlds with open character development and grand, sweeping storylines. If I had the time, I’d probably spend most of it in Mabinogi.
During this week’s revisit, I knew I had to accomplish several things. First, I needed to clean up my quest list. Mabinogi is wonderful in the way it offers a player tons and tons of content and storylines, but they can be visited in a non-linear fashion that leads to confusion. Second, I wanted to revel in the glory that was the newly free extended inventory. Third, I wanted to check out the new systems and tweaks that have come along since I last dived into the game.

[DFO] Dungeon Fighter Online Now Available in Oceania
Nexon America announced today that the North American service of Dungeon Fighter Online is now available in Australia and New Zealand! See the sauce for more information.
In addition, Europeans can now log in and play the North American service of Mabinogi, which is also and has been available for people from Oceania. This as Mabinogi Europe closes on April 25.

Q: When will the Service for Mabinogi Europe be terminated?
A: The Service for Mabinogi Europe will be terminated on the 25th April 2012
Q: When will we be able to play on Nexon America’s Mabinogi Service?
A: You should be now able to access Mabinogi serviced by Nexon America, including the Account-Registration, the Downloads and, of course, the Game.
Q: What will be the compensation period?
A: 18th April 2012 ~ 18th July 2012
Q: Who will be compensated?
A: Users who have logged into the game within the last 6 Months and bought Cash Items since the release of the Item-Shop
Q: How will the Compensation happen?
A: You will just have to login to the Website to receive your compensation. While Nexon-Europe NXCash will be directly added to your Account, you may also receive an additional Coupon Number that you can redeem on the Nexon America Website to get your NX-Cash for Mabinogi.
Q: How will I be compensated?
A: Please see the following Table to calculate how much Compensation you will receive. If you are not sure how much you’ve spent in each shop, please wait for the Compensation Process. It will give the exact amount.
Attention: Please make sure, that no other person is aware of your current Password. We won’t be able to handle any compensation if the used Login to claim the Compensation was right.

[MBEU] Mabinogi Europe To Close
As many would have foreseen, Nexon Europe has made the announcement of the closure of Mabinogi Europe. It was announced earlier this month that the cash shop would close as the final decision on the future of the European service of the game was yet to be made. But that decision has now been made and European Mabinogi players will have to say goodbye to all of their character data. However, it has also been announced that the IP block on the North American service of Mabinogi which is published by Nexon America will be lifted for European players allowing them to play the game.

[MBEU] Mabinogi Joins Combat Arms in Turkey
Last month it was reported that Combat Arms, the best and most popular free online FPS in Europe, had been opened to Turkish users (Nexon Europe Takes Combat Arms to Turkey). It has now been announced that the IP block that was in effect for Turkey on Mabinogi has been dropped. Unfortunately, Mabinogi is not available in the Turkish language.
[NXNA] DST Change Server Maintenance
Dear Players,
Daylight savings change is happening this weekend, and we will be performing maintenance on Sunday to reflect the changes for all Nexon games.
