Nexon America’s Q2 2013 approval rating: 46.63%

Approve: 46.63% (+8.68%)
Disapprove: 30.92% (-7.12%)
Undecided/No Opinion: 22.45% (-1.56%)

The three most common reasons people gave for disapproval:

  • Poor customer service
  • Unacceptable numbers of bugs and glitches in games
  • Cash users have a huge advantage over those who do not have access to NX regularly

The three most common reasons people gave for approval:

  • High quality of game content updates
  • Improving customer service standard
  • Games are fun

Nexon America’s approval rating in the second quarter of 2013 is 46.63%, up 8.68% over the same period in 2012. Disapproval fell 7.12% to 30.92% while those who we undecided or had to no opinion fell marginally by 1.56% to 22.45%.

97% of survey takers began playing the game in 2012 or earlier, 91% in 2011 or earlier and 80% in 2010 or prior. Nearly all takers have been playing Nexon America games for long enough to form a credible opinion.

83% of takers were from the United States or Canada, 10% from Europe, 5% from Australia or New Zealand, 0.8% from Mexico. The most popular ‘Other’ responses were Brazil, Singapore and Venezuela.

Respondents by age group:

17-20: 37%
13-16: 33%
21-24: 20%
Above 24: 6%
Under 13: 4%

92% of survey takers play MapleStory and 32% play Combat Arms. Other games range from 27% who play Vindictus to 9% who play Nexon’s Facebook games.

69% of the survey takers actively play games from publishers other than Nexon America.
