[VIN] Vindictus to Officially Launch October 27

Nexon America has announced that the official launch of the super anticipated free action MMO Vindictus will take place on October 27, 2010. Vindictus will be available for play by all Nexon ID owners in the United States and Canada. A Korean service has been opened since January 2010 and Chinese and European services are currently awaiting beta.

Here are what many MMO coverage centers have been saying about Vindictus in just the past week:

“That is far sooner than I anticipated, and I, for one, am overjoyed to get my hands on this dark and brutal-looking MMO before November.” -Escapist

“Vindictus is one of the few free-to-play game I’ve played that has really excited me. The production values are impressive and the combat is frantic and fun…” -IGN

“Vindictus has probably one of the best combat systems I’ve seen in a long time. Not only are actions smooth and visceral in execution, but in combination with Vindictus’s source engine, it’s really quite satisfying to see the bodies flying.” -ZAM

“Nexon understands the desires of free-to-play casual games, but this looks like a good first step into more serious, adult MMORPG territory. I’d recommend if you’re even a little interested you sign up when the game opens up later this month.” -FileFront

“Alright free to play online games, the bar of quality has been raised!” -GamingEvolution

“Again, Vindictus rolls into open beta in less than 48 hours from this post so keep an eye out for this clever action MMORPG with a fair share of the “brutal elegance” for which the game is built.” -Hewreck

Get ready for action like you’ve never seen it before.
