[DFDS] Nintendo and Nexon to Launch Dungeon Fighter DS

So we heard that MapleStory DS was finally coming out on 15th April in Korea, but now we’re hearing about Dungeon Fighter DS.

Recently, Korean Nintendo and Nexon have reached an agreement that they will be officially releasing a NDS version of Dungeon Fighter Online called Dungeon Fighter DS on April 15th. According to Nexon, Dungeon Fighter DS will be connected with Dungeon Fighter Online and allow the MMO-version players to obtain special titles, items and others.

Nintendo also expressed that they would begin to sell Dungeon Fighter DS together with Nintendo DSi Console (red) at the price of 237,000 Korean Won (about US$ 205) on April 15th.

In Dungeon Fighter DS, players will be able to choose from five classes: slayer, fighter, gunner, mage, priest to begin their adventurous journey.

About Dungeon Fighter Online

Dungeon Fighter Online is an arcade themed 2D side-scroll MMOG that transports players into the mystical realm of Arad where dangerous dungeons abound. Gamers battle monsters as an individual explorer or team up to journey through exclusive multiplayer dungeons. Like other Nexon titles, the game’s controls are easy to learn and can be tailored to personal preferences. Players can choose from five distinct character classes – Fighter, Gunner, Mage, Priest and Swordsman – each featuring a unique set of abilities and powerful attack combinations. Each class further specializes into four sub-classes, which opens up further skills and customization.

  1. Fake.. nexon just finished MapleStory DS, and now they gonna do Dungeon Fighter DS? OF COOUUUUUURSE…. 😉

    • I’m not believing it right now either, since I haven’t heard much about it recently. However, this bit of news was being reported on several credible MMO coverage sites. And just because they just finished MSDS doesn’t mean they aren’t planning on developing DFODS.
